Suzie joined SBH Legal in 2025 and currently represents Washington employers and insurers in workers’ compensation and related employment defense matters.

Suzie is a fourth-generation Oregonian and a native Portlander, but has made Eugene her home since 2016. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2008 and obtained a Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2011. Prior to working at SBH she worked in criminal prosecution for seven years. In her free time, she volunteered at a detention center to help immigrants with the asylum process, and coached mock trial for high schoolers.

She has represented Oregon and Washington employers in workers’ compensation matters in the past and enjoyed the work so much that she returned!

Something you may not know about Suzie

She is a history buff and enjoys baking and a good mystery novel. When she is not working, she loves to go to museums and antique stores. On a rainy day, she likes to read and whip up a batch of cookies.
