We are currently recruiting for a full-time Workers’ Compensation Paralegal.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated paralegal who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong oral and written communication skills, computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Time Matters, Adobe Pro experience preferred), excellent judgment, and a minimum three years of Washington workers’ compensation paralegal experience handling extensive document/file management and organization, medical records review, discovery, scheduling, and docketing deadlines. We are seeking a full-time experienced legal assistant to join our legal team.  Our legal assistants work in a paperless office environment supporting attorneys with opening new matters in our case management system Time Matters, drafting, docketing, scheduling, phone call handling, expense tracking, and other legal administrative duties. 

Successful legal assistant candidates possess the following:

Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting workers’ compensation or litigation attorneys in a law firm setting
Positive and professional office and phone demeanor and etiquette
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to proofread material for contextual, grammatical, and spelling errors
Excellent computer skills and ability to learn and adapt to technology changes
Proficient with Microsoft Office/Word and Adobe/PDF software (Time Matters experience a plus)
Proactive and self-motivated
Strong organizational abilities with an eye for detail and effective time management to meet important deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all colleagues
Participation in atmosphere of teamwork and congeniality
Punctuality and strong work ethic
