Samantha R. Toda

Law Practice

Samantha joined SBH Legal in 2023 and represents Oregon and Washington employers and insurers in state and federal courts. Her practice emphasizes civil litigation, including workers’ compensation and employment defense, with a focus on complex case strategy, motion practice, and trial advocacy. Samantha defends employers against a wide range of employment-related claims, including allegations of discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes. Before joining SBH Legal, she practiced family law and estate planning and served as a court-certified law clerk with the Oregon Department of Justice.

As a native Oregonian, Samantha attended the University of Oregon where she majored in public relations and minored in political science.  After graduating college, Samantha obtained her law degree from Willamette University College of Law.

Outside of work, Samantha is a “momager” to an Instagram Pupfluencer, Ozzy, and is generally eating her way through Portland.
