Mike joined SBH Legal in 2025 and currently represents Oregon employers and insurers in workers’ compensation and related employment defense matters.

Prior to joining SBH Legal, Mike served as an Administrative Judge at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) where he heard discrimination claims brought by employees of the federal government. Before that Mike was a Trial Attorney at the EEOC and a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Mike relies on his prior work as both a judicial neutral and litigator to help clients confidently assess the benefits and risks of potential paths forward, including resolution or litigation.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and exploring his new home in the Pacific Northwest.
