Law Practice
Kuranda joined SBH Legal in 2026 and currently represents Washington employers and insurers in workers’ compensation and related employment defense matters. Kuranda brings four years of prior legal experience to SBH, including workers’ compensation defense and civil litigation.
Originally from the Midwest, Kuranda’s family background in the medical field instilled in her an appreciation for the interplay between law and medicine, and she finds fulfillment in the unique problem-solving aspects of workers’ compensation defense.
When not aggressively working on her client’s cases, Kuranda finds joy in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. An avid gardener, hiker, and outdoor enthusiast, she cherishes the time spent exploring and appreciating her surroundings with her husband, Kunshi, and two beloved cats, Jax and Nyx.
