Jennifer joined SBH Legal in 2026 and currently represents Washington employers and insurers in workers’ compensation and related employment defense matters.

Before joining SBH, Jennifer practiced business and employment litigation at a boutique firm. Following this, she spent a few years as assistant general counsel at Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette, which introduced her to workers’ compensation law.

Jennifer grew up in Southern California and Houston. After graduating from undergrad, she ran a wig company with her brother. She moved to the PNW in 2014 and to Oregon in 2017 to start law school.

Something you may not know about Jennifer

  • She has two Australian shepherds – Tuesday, named after Love you Till Tuesday by David Bowie, and Boba Black Sesame Rice Ball, but he prefers to go by Bobes.
  • Jennifer is an avid cook, regularly hosting meals made with local CSA veggies.
