Peter joined SBH Legal in 2025 and currently represents Oregon employers and insurers in workers’ compensation and related employment defense matters.

Originally from Illinois outside of the greater Chicago Region, Peter completed his undergraduate degree in Philosophy at Quincy University, and moved to Massachusetts. There, he attended New England Law | Boston and graduated with his J.D. in 2013 and subsequently was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.

Peter then spent 11 years advocating and representing claimants seeking their Social Security Disability benefits in disability hearings before Administrative Law Judges before transferring to the Pacific Northwest where he now joins SBH Legal to begin his worker’s compensation career.

Something you may not know about Peter

  • In 2016, Peter was a “living donor” for his father, donating his kidney for his father who had end-stage renal disease. He strongly believes in the power of organ donations and the ability to save a life by doing this.
  • Since relocating to the Pacific Northwest, Peter and his wife Meghan have become members of Hollywood Theatre in Portland, and have become fans of their “Kung-Fu” monthly movie series.
  • Peter enjoys traveling, having completed a cross-country road trip to the Pacific Northwest when he relocated and attending National Parks, such as Zion National Park in Utah as well as the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
