Dee Akinbosade

Law Practice

Dee joined SBH Legal in 2023 and currently represents Oregon employers and insurers in workers’ compensation and related employment defense matters.

Dee is from Nigeria, West Africa, and speaks five languages. Dee has four law degrees and has a legal background in Africa, Europe, and North America.

Dee earned his JD from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he distinguished himself through exceptional academic achievement and leadership. During law school, he served as Student Body President, Vice President of the Moot Court Board, Captain of the Mock Trial Team, President of the International Student Association, and Executive Editor of the Oregon International Law Review. His article on gender pay equity was also published in a nationally recognized legal journal, reflecting his commitment to thoughtful legal analysis and advocacy.

Dee is admitted to practice law in Oregon and Washington and is also licensed to practice in Africa. Before relocating to the United States, he practiced with a leading corporate law firm in Nigeria, where he advised domestic and multinational clients on complex mergers and acquisitions, employment litigation, and workers’ compensation matters. His international legal background provides him with a broad perspective on sophisticated employment and workers’ compensation issues, enabling him to deliver practical, strategic counsel across diverse legal and regulatory environments.
