About
Becks joined the SBH Legal team in 2019 as a paralegal, assisting with Oregon and Washington workers’ compensation cases. Born and raised in Oregon, she attended Portland State University, where she majored in History and minored in Philosophy, with an emphasis in ethics and metaethics. After graduating, Becks worked as a file clerk and legal assistant at another Oregon firm specializing in Employment and Insurance defense, until 2019 when she joined SBH as a paralegal. She currently attends the University of Massachusetts School of Law, in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, and is entering her final year. Outside of work Becks enjoys listening to music, hanging out with her dog, and reading.

Something you may not know about Becks:
- Becks enjoys taking hikes with her 5-year-old rescue Great Pyrenees/Lab mix named “Hank” when the weather is nice and reading on the couch while he naps when it’s not.
- She spends her free time at record stores searching for deals and is working on growing her rather eclectic LP collection.
- She has recently taken up photography and is hoping to explore more of the Northeastern wilderness while in school.
