Rachel joined SBH Legal in 2026 and currently represents Washington employers and insurers in workers’ compensation and related employment defense matters.

Rachel is originally from Seattle, where she attended the University of Washington for her undergraduate studies. She moved to Portland to attend Lewis & Clark Law School and fell in love with her new city! Prior to joining SBH, Rachel was a law clerk for numerous public interest and environmental organizations and spent three years representing claimants seeking Social Security disability benefits.

Something you may not know about Rachel

Outside of work, you’ll find Rachel exploring the Portland food scene and going on outdoor adventures with her husband and their dog. Rachel also enjoys spending time at the coast and will take any chance she gets to go tide pooling.
