Jamie came to Sather, Byerly & Holloway, LLP with extensive experience with discrimination matters. She formerly worked as a Senior Investigator with the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries. Prior to her relocation to Oregon, she worked with a national labor union representing more than 2 million members.
Member of Oregon State Bar, Ohio State Bar (inactive) and U.S. District Court of Oregon. Jamie is a Board Member of the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC) and a member of NW EEO. She is a regular presenter at the Annual Employment Law Conference hosted by the Bureau of Labor & Industries and also presents around the state on a variety of workers’ compensation and employment issues. Jamie also serves on the Oregon Self-Insurers Association’s Membership Committee.

Something you may not know about Jamie
If you could have dinner with anybody, dead or alive, who would it be? Jamie would choose to have dinner with Edgar Allen Poe, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Janis Joplin. She has also archived her family history and would love to have dinner with ancestor, Rebecca Addington, who is rumored to have been sentenced to prison, where she later died, for suspected witchcraft (“mischief”) at the start of the Salem witch trials.
Ducks or Beavers? Jamie is a proud Ohio University Bobcat and fan of “The” Ohio State Buckeyes.
Favorite Oregon/Washington getaway place? Jamie loves weekend trips to the mountain where she has been learning to snowboard. She also loves trips to Astoria and central Oregon with her yellow lab, Gary, to hike and enjoy the local beers.
Top three favorite reads? To Kill a Mockingbird, Atonement and Mrs. Dalloway.
