Adriana joined SBH Legal in 2020. She came to SBH Legal after ten years as an Administrative Prosecutor with the Bureau of Labor and Industries. She worked in a similar role for the Oregon Liquor Control Commission before that.
Adriana currently represents Oregon employers and insurers in employment defense and workers’ compensation matters.
Adriana was born in Mexico and grew up in Mexico and Los Angeles. She feels lucky to have found her crowd and to be able to call the Pacific Northwest home since 2005.
Outside of work Adriana enjoys spending time with her two precocious children and explaining to them why she really does know more than they do–she doesn’t always win that argument.

Favorite city visited? Tafraoute, Morocco. Before attending law school, I took a trip to Spain and Morocco, visiting several of their beautiful cities. Barcelona was a splendid city indeed, but it was the natural rugged beauty of Tafraoute that forever captured my heart. Nestled up in the Anti-Atlas Mountains bordering the Sahara Desert, the stark landscape contrasts with the warmth and kindness of the Berber culture. I will never forget waking up one morning to see a thick carpet of clouds beneath my feet!
